About Metelkova & the museum quarter
Metelkova Mesto, taken over by artists in 1993, is an open-air gallery by day and the city’s alternative nightlife district by night.
Next door, the museum quarter gathers MSUM, the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and a branch of the National Museum around a courtyard; Hostel Celica is part of the same complex.
