About Ljubljana railway station: the new passenger centre
Ljubljana’s railway station is being rebuilt as a modern passenger centre: a new station spanning the tracks, with access down to the platforms and a 110-metre overpass linking it to the new bus station and shopping centre at Emonika. The tracks, platforms, signalling and power supply are being renewed at the same time. The client is the Ministry of Infrastructure with the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency; trains keep running throughout, with temporary platform access.
