About Prešeren Square
Prešeren Square is where Ljubljana meets. The pink Franciscan Church of the Annunciation closes one side, Art Nouveau buildings line the others, and the monument of 1905 honours France Prešeren, the national poet, gazing towards a relief of his muse Julija across the square.
