MUZA Museum and Gallery
In an Art Nouveau bank
About MUZA Museum and Gallery
MUZA occupies one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in central Ljubljana, the former Ljubljana City Savings Bank on Čopova ulica, a minute from Prešeren Square. It combines the Museum of Banking of Slovenia, which explains the history and practice of money and banking, with a Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art showing the NLB art collection and contemporary art from South-East Europe. Our advice: worth it for the building alone.
Why it's on our list
- One of the city’s finest Art Nouveau buildings
- The NLB art collection
- Contemporary art from South-East Europe
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with MUZA Museum and Gallery before you go.
