The Slovenian School Museum, in the former Ursuline schools on Plečnikov trg near Congress Square, takes you through the history of education from prehistory to today. Its centrepiece is a long school blackboard facing a long school bench; open its flaps and drawers and stories from Slovenian schooling tumble out. Our advice: a charming hour for families, and a nostalgic one for adults.
