About Čajnica Pater Ašič
This herbal tea house and shop on Poljanska cesta, a few minutes east of the Dragon Bridge, preserves the legacy of Pater Ašič, the well-known Slovenian herbalist of the Cistercian abbey at Stična. You can drink herbal teas, coffee and natural juices with freshly baked pies and apple strudel, and buy tea blends, tinctures, ointments and books made to his recipes, alongside natural products from other European monasteries. Our advice: a calm, unusual stop and a good place for gifts.
