About Shambala

Shambala cooks dishes from South-East Asia and Japan in the glass-roofed atrium of an old townhouse on Križevniška ulica, a few steps from Križanke and the river. In summer, tables move out into a garden shaded by trees, and the bar pours Asian teas, Japanese whisky and Slovenian wines. The MICHELIN Guide Slovenia lists it among Ljubljana’s restaurants. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Our advice: a good choice for a relaxed lunch after the National Museum or Križanke.
