About Koseze Pond

Koseze Pond, in a former clay pit on the north-western edge of Ljubljana, is now a marshy lake that shelters rare and endangered species: frogs and other amphibians, fish, dragonflies, swans and other birds, with black alder, willow and reeds along the shore. A walking path with benches runs round it, with wooden platforms and piers. It lies right by the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship. Our advice: a peaceful stop on a bike ride round the city’s green ring.
