Šestica is first mentioned as an inn in 1776, when carters on the road between Vienna and Trieste stopped here, and it has fed Ljubljana ever since; the architect Jože Plečnik was among its regulars. Expect Slovenian home cooking in panelled rooms, opposite the Nebotičnik skyscraper.
