Štruklji, rolled dough with sweet or savoury fillings, boiled or baked, are one of the most Slovenian things you can eat, and this little štrukljarnica in Plečnik’s colonnade at the Central Market makes more than 20 kinds a day: cottage cheese, tarragon, apple, buckwheat with walnuts, herbs and meat, and sweet versions with berries or chocolate.
