About Mladinsko Theatre
Slovensko mladinsko gledališče was founded in 1955 as Slovenia’s first professional theatre for children, and later re-formed as an experimental company. Its productions, unusual, provocative and inventive, have toured Europe and the Americas, and it is regarded as Slovenia’s most internationally recognised theatre. It is based on Vilharjeva cesta, north of the station, and is one of the few Slovenian theatres to offer some performances with foreign-language surtitles.
