About Gostilna Čubr
Čubr, in Križ near Komenda on the road north towards Kamnik, traces its history back to 1754 and has been run by the same family company for three generations. The menu covers Slovenian, Mediterranean and Balkan dishes, game and seafood, with an emphasis on slow food and Slovenian wines; every November the house holds a well-known Beaujolais Nouveau tasting. It opens from Tuesday to Saturday. Our advice: pair it with a trip to Kamnik or Velika Planina.
